Dutch artist, Parra got together with Etnies Plus on two pairs of shoes, one for women and one for men. The one for guys look pretty clean and classic, but I’m not really feeling the women’s version. The use of colours and materials, the way the colours switch up on either shoe. It is original though and eye-catching. I think I’d stick with the classic white one though.

Lately we’ve been seeing a lot of pictures of the XXII’s surfacing in forums and blogs around the net. They’ve either been samples or works in progress…until now. Here we have the very first images of the Jordan XXII which will be released in January. Personally, I’m not feeling these at all. I loved the XX’s, the XXI’s less, but these XXII’s are not my style. I really hope they step up their game next year with the XXIII.

I was pretty much overjoyed when I found one of Jurij Norstein’s classic works, “Hedgehog in the Fog” online. The animation tricks he was capable of way back in the ’70s and ’80s, under the iron-curtain clad Communist film industry, left even the most modern, well-equipped studios gasping for breath. Even to this day, from Japan to America, his work is lauded to great extents by his contemporaries.
But to me, “Hedgehog in the Fog” is not one of the most classic animated short films of all time because of its superb technical qualities (although it is very high, and very original), but because of its almost super depressive mood, that at the same time also manages to create an atmosphere of happiness and joy.
But if you want to check out some of Norstein’s more technically appealing works, then make sure to check out the beautiful Sweet Little Mystery, or the Masters of Russian Animation Series, where you will also find the works of other Russian geniuses. If you are into graphic design, or animation, do NOT sleep on “Hedgehog in the Fog” or “Sweet Little Mystery”. (But Norstein has an even wider fanbase. Vitalij Klicsko’s favourite animated film is “Hedgehog in the Fog”.)

Up until now, we’ve only seen clothes for women by Hellz Bellz. Well, they’ve decided to take two of their more popular women’s tees, ‘Good Gone Bad‘ and the ‘Crooks from Hell’, the Crooks & Castles collaboration tee. They will be available in the near future.

The Nike iD studio in New York put together this Air Max 90. It brings the name Air Max 90 infrared to a whole new level. I’m a big fan of the OG infrared, but there’s a bit too much on these. I’d still rock em though. But they’re limited to 90 pairs and will only be available at the Nike iD studio at 255 Elizabeth St. on December 2nd.
