Freshjive ‘Resurgent Series’

June 29th, 2007  •   Posted by: mark  •   Posted in: fashion  •   Comments Off

Freshjive recently decided to re-issue the very first graphics Rick Klotz ever designed, back in 1989. There are a total of four tees, each available in two different colours.

Between ‘89 and ‘92, Rick used to do promotional videos with his good friend, Frank Sacramento, who was getting into video direction at the time (De La Soul, House of Pain, Dru Hill, Sir Mix A lot, Freestyle Fellowship, The Roots, Mobb Deep, Blondie, Brand Nubian, Everlast, Funkdoobiest, Redd Kross, The Breeders, etc…). In reference to their old videos, Freshjive put out a new video. Check it out here.

You can cop the tees now over at Digital Gravel and at the Reserve store.

MackDaddy’s latest collaboration brought them together with Bounty Hunter on some selvedge denim. The back pockets are studded and feature the Bounty Hunter logo just above the bottom right pocket and below the front left. As a bonus, the jeans come with a studded brown leather wristband. They only recently arrived at Eproze, but unfortunately, they’re already sold out.

Hysteric Glamour Website

June 28th, 2007  •   Posted by: mark  •   Posted in: fashion, toys, website  •   Comments Off

Hysteric Glamour recently launched their website. It is currently only running in Japanese, but an English version is in the works. The website features all the latest news regarding HG, and all the new products are available for viewing, as well as their stockists.

What I found most interesting was a collaboration piece they made with Medicom Toy. The subject of their work was “The Rocking Machine” featured in Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange, originally designed by Herman Makkink, which is selling for about $1000.

Check out the “Rocking Machine” after the jump. Potentially NSFW.
