On February 1st, Estevan Oriol in conjuction with adidas Originals and Undefeated will open 1979 at Firmament, a photo exhibit celebrating adidas Basketball History. The exhibit will display basketball as an urban and maverick game, providing a rich, broad range of images. Also on February 1st, Being Hunted will have some photos from the exhibit up on their website, as well as more information about the entire project.

Once again, Levi’s gets Phunk Studio to design some tees for them. You can check out their previous collabo here. This time, they had them design two tees for Valentine’s day, one for women and one for guys. They even made a website where you can find out more about the project.

Part of London’s Dover Street Market AF1 Silver Service installation is this handmade fixie created by the Wilson Brothers. There will be a short documentary coming out covering the various stages of the bike’s creation.

London’s The Hideout celebrates their tenth anniversary this year, and to celebrate they will be releasing a few special items, one of them being this messenger bag done in collaboration with Porter. It comes in two colours, made from canvas featuring the shop’s motto, MY KARMA DRIVES OVER MY DOGMA on it.

Nike’s ‘Copper’ pack features two shoes inspired by copper. They used materials to mimic the colours and the feel of copper on a Court Force Hi and a hybrid 95/360 Air Max. These have just released. You can find them at Kicks/Hi.

Shepard Fairey’s latest work was made in support of Democratic candidate, Barack Obama. This is what Shepard had to say about the piece:

I believe with great conviction that Barack Obama should be the next President. I have been paying close attention to him since the Democratic convention in 2004. I feel that he is more a statesman than a politician. He was against the war when it was an unpopular position (and Hillary was for the war at that time), Obama is for energy and environmental conservation. He is for healthcare reform. Later this year, one of the most sought after Jordans will return. The VI ‘Carmine’ will be part of the Countdown Pack along with a XVII.
