Jeremy Fish ‘Ghosts of the Barbary Coast’
Tags: art, Exhibit, Jeremy Fish

Jeremy Fish has a new exhibit opening at FIFTY24SF Gallery. The new works were inspired by the colourful history of San Francisco. Fish explains that the city is “built on an adventurous pioneer spirit, which you can still see traces of in contemporary San Francisco. It’s that magnetism this city has to that adventurous personality that I am building on.” Combining a “lust for gold, and a full spread of vices, all perpetuated by hoodlums, harlots, heroes, pirates, and pioneers, all running to California ‘chasing a dream,’” the end result is a city full of ‘Ghosts on the Barbary Coast’.
More after the jump.
