The next sneaker from Nike’s 1World project is a collaboration with Clot. The Hong Kong-based brand designed a sneaker based around the themes of luck, happiness and prosperity — as represented by the color red — which prevail during traditional Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations. The upper is made from red Clot Royale Deluxe Silk, and embroidered with trademark Clot graphics inspired by traditional Chinese prints. The silk red layer covers a brown leather layer also featuring the same Clot graphics. The shoe comes in a special “Chinese Candy Box” packaging set, and will release January 19th exclusively at Hong Kong’s Juice, and ACU.

At the beginning of the year, we reported about the Fucking Awesome sneakers, which were highly limited, with only 715 pairs worldwide. Needless to say, they sold out everywhere, but just this week, Commonwealth managed to get a couple pairs in stock. Be quick cause they will not be available for long.

Andy Freeberg’s latest works took place in Russian art museums. The subjects, however, were not the works hanging from the walls or erected on pedestals, but of the guards (old ladies) protecting them. Entitled, Guardians, the works will be on display at Portland, Oregon’s Blue Sky Gallery from March 5th until the 29th.

Nike has already started releasing their Air Max Skyline. Just recently, the Infrared, and Cool Grey colourways have already arrived at retailers, and now we see a new white/green/grey/blue version. These have also started arriving at shops.

Mita Sneakers of Japan have added another collaboration to what is an already lengthy list. This time, they once again got together with Puma. They chose the Puma Clyde, and gave it a black/blue “rising sun” design. The sneaker will release January 2nd.

Here we have a new Nike SB Dunk Hi Premium. If you were a fan of the show you might recognize references to Twin Peaks. That’s because the show was in fact inspired by the classic series directed by David Lynch. They are officially set to release in January, but you can already cop them at Caliroots.
