The pack consists of the high-top No Quarter LX in two colourways, the Velocita LX also in two colourways, and the Akat LX in three colourways. James Jean’s first ever solo exhibit opened last weekend at the Jonathan Levine Gallery. The artist has gained a cult following in part due to his work as an illustrator at DC/Vertigo Comics. He has won several awards, and his clients include such names as Nike, Atlantic Records and Playboy.
His Kindling exhibit marks a new chapter in the artist’s career. He has called it quits with illustration and commercial projects, and will focus on fine art. The new works consist of several mediums including oil, acrylic, and mixed media works on both paper and canvas.
