S/Double ‘Service’ Shoe
Tags: S-Double, sneakers, Stüssy

As we already reported, Shawn Stüssy started a new project called S/Double. The first shoe to be revealed is the Service model. As he stated in his blog, Shawn’s goal with S/Double is to make pieces that are identifiable on a wide scale by as many people as possible. This is why the Service shoe was designed in a manner that could just as easily be seen on a policeman as on a janitor or hipster. As described by Shawn, the shoe is “done up in nice dress shoe leather, fully leather lined to the toe. The toe is round and chunky, flat on the earth… Old style waxed laces, tight and thin. Vibram soles and a beefy welt…” Stay tuned for details.
More after the jump.
