It’s Our Thing 2009

Osaka-based label, It’s Our Thing was founded by graphic designer/illustrator, PMFKA (aka Michael Thorsby) and Osaka’s finest t-shirt screenprinter/gallery/shop, Sweatshop Union’s Matthias Scnneidewind. Michael and Matthias for years made tees for other brands such as Danish Wood Wood, and Beams. In 2006, they decided to start up their own brand, and It’s Our Thing was born. This year, they designed a brand new logo to coincide with the release of a new collection. You can purchase all items directly through their website.

Nike Air Yeezy ‘Black/Pink’ Drops May 2nd

Nike Air Structure Triax ‘White/Purple/Aqua’

Since making a return in 2007, Nike has steadily been releasing the Air Structure Triax in a variety of new colourways. Here we see one of the new versions in a black/white/purple/teal colourway. They officially release in May. You can pre-order now at End.

Today we bring you a preview from XLarge Japan’s Fall collection. They provide a look at several new items, of which eight will be available for pre-order tomorrow through Zozotown and Calif. The brand continues to design the same colourful, and casual pieces they have become known for.

Swagger ‘09 Spring Striped Hoodies

Part of Swagger’s Spring collection is their striped, zip-hoodie. It comes in two colours, blue/white and red/white, and has almost a seersucker aesthetic to them. They just released today and you can find them at choice is yours.

Aiko ‘Love Monster’ Exhibit

Last weekend, Aiko opened her new Exhibit, entitled Love Monster, at New York’s Joshua Liner Gallery. The new pieces are “comprised of several ambitious large scale mixed media works on canvas that serve as metaphorical self portraits for the artist, which contemplate gender, cultural, and artistic identity.” Thanks to The Art Collectors, we can show you a few images from the exhibit, which runs until May 16th.

David Flores ‘Kidrobot’ Print

Here we have a new work from artist, David Flores. He created the print for Kidrobot, but unfortunately, not much else is known at this time. Most likely though, it will be available through Kidrobot stores and their website in the near future.

Huf ‘09 Spring New Era Releases

Just as they did last weekend, Huf is getting ready to drop a few more New Eras this Saturday. The cap will come in five colourways and features the classic H logo embroidered on the front with white piping between the panels. You’ll find it at San Francisco and Los Angeles locations.

New Estate LA Five-Panel Cap

Earlier today, Estate LA revealed one of their newest caps. Unlike most of their products, which are fitteds, this latest one is a five-panel inspired by traditional Mexican weaving patterns. There is no word on availability yet other than that it will be out soon. Stay tuned.

Parra x Publik Tees

From the creator of 2kbygingham comes Publik. For the Japanese brands new collection, they worked together with several artists including Parra. The Dutch artist created three designs, of which will be made available in both men’s and women’s sizes through Publik’s website on May 10th.
