Sub Pop’s pivotal role in making Grunge music a worldwide phenomenon is undisputed. We have the utmost respect for them and the acts they helped usher into the mainstream (Nirvana, Dinosaur Jr., Mudhoney, Sonic Youth, Soundgarden, etc…) but this SB Blazer they designed based on the first 7″ from their Sub Pop Singles Club from last year leaves much to be desired. The sneaker releases in July as a quickstrike at a select few accounts. mash rating: 5/10
