About a year ago, we saw the release of the Neck Face x KCDC x Vans Chukka Lows. For those who have been trying to get the sneaker, which is limited to only 100 pairs, be quick and head over to KCDC. They just got in a couple pairs.

Austrian skateboard brand, Yama Skateboards teamed up with Carhartt. The two brands put together the Mental Weirdo Asylum series decks made for four skaters who are sponsored by both brands. They were designed Belgian artist, Elzo Durt. mash rating: 8/10

Stones Throw’s emblematic character, Madlib is back. After heeps of mixtapes and other hip-hop projects, the multi-faceted sample king has put together his dream jazz band and called it The Last Electro-Acoustic Space Jazz & Percussion Ensemble.

The album, entitled Summer Suite is one long, 44 minute continuous musical meandering, which aims at giving closure to the Yesterdays New Quintet era, and aims to open a new chapter in the recluse artist’s career, who up until now, had no trouble making up artists and group names, such as Sound Directions, Young Jazz Rebels, and Kamala Walker and the Soul Tribe. All of which are figments of his very vivid imagination.

It might be worth mentioning that the album was in fact completed back in 2007, and was offered as a gift to those who purchased the Yesterdays Universe album. Now, however, it is readily available to anyone who has not yet heard it.

We’ve already seen the lookbook, and the shops have started to receive their shipments of 10.Deep’s Summer collection. Among them is Atlanta retailer, Standard who are now stocking the new shirts, tees and shorts. mash rating: 5.5/10

Hot110 recently visited UK illustrator Pete Fowler for a short interview. In the video, we get a look at the artist’s studio, who also tells us a bit about his background, inspiration, and his new project with Boxfresh.

The German-based group that make up Flying Fortress have been doing their thing for over 10 years now. Mostly known for their high-quality books on street art and their Teddy Troops toys, they also make a mean line of t-shirts. Their Summer collection was just revealed yesterday, which consists of several well-designed pieces. Naturally the Teddy Troop makes an appearance as well as a collaboration with Dave the Chimp. Some of the tees are now available through RockawayBear. mash rating: 7/10

We’re fans of Johnny Cupcakes, because he almost always makes tees that look good. The quality is on par, the graphics are always clever. This latest one – which just happens to be right there on the Transformers bandwagon – isn’t his best tee, but we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. mash rating: 4.5/10
