Currently, Denver’s David B. Smith is holding a new exhibit featuring the work of Jason Thielke. Made from laser-etched wood, and other materials, and using architectural techniques to create human form, the artist aims to create a juxtaposition between natural beauty and positive energy with intentional thought and manipulation. These figures depict the idiosyncrasies of human perception, examining the dynamics of body language, eye contact and spiritual interaction.

More after the jump.
