Vehicles, a series of paintings by Brooklyn-based artist Kevin Cyr, takes vans, trucks and other forms of transportation found cluttering city streets, and isolates them. Often seen as an eyesoar, Cyr shows these vehicles in a new light, and brings out a beauty in them that is left unrecognized in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

New Balance is getting set to release their 1400 model in two new colourways. Both feature a heavy deployment of technical waterproof materials and have been finished with reflective overlays.  The midsoles were given a vintage appearance with an off-white finish. These will begin arriving in limited quantities to retailers in October, but you can pre-order at Hanon Shop. mash rating: 5/10
