Insa ‘Chain’ Print

To coincide with the Haters exhibit opening tonight, Insa designed a new print. Titled Chains, it will be available in three colours at the show tonight and next week online through Insa’s website. Each signed and numbered by the artist, himself.

Nike Sportswear Varsity Jacket

Here we get a look at a new jacket for the coming cold months from Nike Sportswear. Their new varsity jacket features such details as a wool body, Thermacore insulation, two front pockets, chest pocket with contrasting waterproof zipper, and a hidden inside pocket with a zipper. From Jagger to Warhol

Going fourty years way back dating to April 21, 1969 is this letter sent from Mick Jagger to Andy Warhol about having the Pop artist design the cover art for the band’s Sticky Fingers album. Apart from giving him a carte blanche, Jagger also left it up to Warhol to choose his fee.

UNDRCRWN ‘09 Fall T-Shirts & Sweats

Here we get a look at a few items from UNDRCRWN’s Fall collection. As usual, the pieces are heavily rooted in music, lifestyle and sports heritage. The collection, which consists mainly of pull-over hoodies and crew neck sweaters is also complimented by a small run of printed tees. Shirts like “Run & Gun” and “Pick & Roll” are each heavily influenced by basketball while “Lords Of The UNDRCRWN” and “Ashy 2 Classy” subtly tie back to hip-hop. Other more apparent basketball related themes are found in the “I Love The Old NY,” “Astro Dunk” and “UNI TEE” t-shirts. mash rating:7/10

Luke Chueh ‘Southpaw’ Prints

Luke Chueh and 1988 Gallery have produced a set of giclée prints from Chueh’s Southpaw series. There are a total of five prints, each limited to 100, and measuring 12″ x 16″, signed and individually numbered. They can be purchased separately for $100, or as set. Available now through 1988 Gallery.
