Andrew Zuckerman’s ‘Birds’
Tags: Andrew Zuckerman, Photography

One of photographer, Andrew Zuckerman’s projects surrounded birds, and took them from their original habitats, and gave them a stark white background. This technique really focuses the viewer’s attention on the beauty of the bird itself. His birdbook.org website offers a complete look at the birds, each complete with information about the bird, as well as audio of the feathered creature’s call. The website offers video including a behind the scenes look. All of the images were collected in a book, simply entitled Bird, which is available through Amazon.

AURUMANIA Bicycles
Tags: AURUMANIA

Copenhagen-based AURUMANIA designs perhaps the most luxurious bicycles we’ve ever seen, which goes to say their bikes will cost you more than the average fixed gear or single speed as they use 24K gold plating on everything from the frame to the forks, and even the spokes. They have three bicycles in their collection: the Gold Bike, the Gold Bike Crystal Edition (which is limited to only 10, with every visible surface plated in gold, featuring 600 crystallized Swarovski Elements), and the CPH Street Nightbike (seen above). The Nightbike will cost you a modest €2000 when compared to the Gold Bike, which has an asking price of €21, 000 or the Crystal Edition which will set you back a cool €80, 000.

The ice cream truck, which will double as the pop-up shop, will be traveling throughout Los Angeles and Orange County this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

It seems Patta is going all out for their 5th anniversary. So far, they’ve put together three colourways of the Air Max 1 to celebrate (green/grey-white, purple TZ and Burgundy), and here we see a fourth one in a blue/green colour scheme. It’s set to release this Saturday, and if we have to guess, we’d say there’ll be a fifth colourway to round out the 5th anniversary celebrations. mash rating: 5/10
