Opening at David B. Smith Gallery on January 15th is a group show featuring new works by many artists including Gregory Euclide. The Minnesota-based artist’s attraction to landscapes becomes immediately clear when viewing his work, which blends traditional 2D landscape art with 3D giving it a whole new perspective, and depth. Instead of just looking at it, the works often mimic what you might actually see or feel were you looking at a particular landscape with your own eyes. Brilliant stuff indeed.
