Frank Kozik has taken Kidrobot’s most memorable character, and exposed him to nuclear radiation resulting in green skin, three eyes, and tentacles for arms. It is limited to only 1000 and comes with a one-eyed, three-eared, six-legged mutant smorkin’ Labbit. It releases March 18th. mash rating: 7/10

For their Spring campaign, WESC gathered a bunch of friends together on a sunny day at a house in LA, threw a party, and had Cheryl Dunn document the events. In attendance were such names as Steve Berra, Chris Pastras, Ray Barbee, Alex Prager,  Jason Lee, Stash, Yonehara, Wieger van Wageningen, and many more. Naturally, everyone’s sporting the new Spring collection, which has already started arriving at retailers.

Mishka’s Spring collection is full of surprises. The brand continues to expand, introducing new items with each season. For the Spring, they debut their first boxers, which feature an all-over print of their Keep Watch graphic. John Downer, a professional sign painter and typographer was flown to LA to do gold leaf lettering on Reserve’s store window and transom. Glass gilding is becoming a lost art that only a few dozen people in the United States still know how perform. In this video interview John explains the process in detail.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album, 3 Feet High and Rising, De La Soul have gotten together with Kidrobot to produce a set of 3-inch figures. Each figure comes with individual accessories and the set comes in futuristic space travel boxes, symbolizing De La’s “mission to take hip-hop to the stratosphere and beyond”. Retailing for $50, the De La Soul 3-Pack releases March 18th. mash rating: 8/10

Part of a slew of products made to commemorate Stussy’s 30th anniversary is a Ricoh GR Digital III camera. The specs are exactly the same as any normal GRDIII, but has a lot more style thanks to such features as the trademark Stussy font used to label the buttons, etc… These have just released, and you can find them at Colette.
