Zuriick 2010 Spring/Summer Beata

With a name like Zuriick, you might be misled into thinking this brand was from Switzerland. They are in fact from Salt Lake City, Utah. Either way, they make some legit sneakers. Our favourite is the Beata model, a clean-looking Chukka/Desert Boot featuring a cup sole. It comes in a variety of colourways for Spring/Summer, and is already available through their website as well as selected retailers. mash rating: 6.5/10

Johnny Cupcakes ‘Los Angeles Exclusive’ T-Shirt

Every now and then, Johnny Cupcakes will make their already limited t-shirts even more limited by making them available at only one of their retail locations. Such is the case with this latest tee. It was designed exclusively for their flagship store in Los Angeles. If you’re in the area, you might want to pick one up before they’re gone. mash rating: 7/10

Digital Daily: AR Drone – iPhone Controlled Helicopter
For those who are not content with the fact that their iPhones have GPS, TV, internet, and the T-Pain application, you can now control a mini helicopter from your phone. “Every game is unique, whether inside or outside. Software developers are able to use both cameras of the AR.Drone to create Augmented Reality video games. The AR.Drone software includes Augmented Reality functions such as detecting other AR.Drone in flight, detecting and positioning markers on the ground and on the walls. Depending on the applications downloaded, it opens up a whole new world to users: they can take part in wild races in their own garden, or fight against aliens hidden in their living room.”

Sports Story: Another Powerhouse Bites The Dust

England was supposed to reign supreme this year. The country which hosts one of the greatest leagues in the world, the Premiership, did not live up to its expectations as the team loss to Germany 4-1. “…we were found lacking in all departments. German hero Thomas Muller was asked in his post-match news conference whether his team always knew it would win, and he grinned as he responded without missing a beat, “We are Germany. We are a tournament team.” Implicit in his grin was the corollary. “You are England. Middling soccer fodder.”"
