We have been big fans of The Quiet Life for a while now mainly due to the fact that they consistently put out creative, unique, and well-executed designs season after season. For their latest collection, it’s no different. Unfortunately, we can only show you a handful of what they have in store for the Fall/Winter, but we’re already impressed. Stay tuned for more. It turns out those images of P-Rod skating in NYC we showed you last week were actually stills from a new commercial celebrating the release of Paul Rodriguez’s fourth signature sneaker. Not only does the video show us clips of the skater doing some clean tricks in the Big Apple, but as an added highlight, Nike got Nas on board to take part and spit a couple bars for the commercial as well.

We don’t usually cover advertisements, even though we often stumble onto ones that catch our attention. However, we felt this latest one needed to be posted. It’s from advertising agency, TBWA, who creatively redecorated crosswalk in front of a McDonald’s in Switzerland.

Nike has rewarded their AGS (Austria, Germany, Switzerland) employees this limited pair of Dunk Highs, dubbed the Dubai, after they won an internal competition which took place in the same city. They sport a black leather upper with blue contrast stitching and a distressed gold swoosh. Emblazoning the heel reads a laser-etched ‘WE ARE NIKE’. Unfortunately, these are employee-only release, and will not be hitting store shelves. mash rating: 5.5/10

Last week, we showed you the mural that Os Gemeos and Futura were working on. They have since finished the outstanding project, of which we now bring you some additional photos. The seven-story tall character was a joint effort with the Brazilian twins designing the patchwork shorts comprised of national flags, while Futura painted the shirt, which features his trademark atoms and pointmen graphics. Finished in only one week, the mural was made possible by AKANYC and 12ozProphet.
