JR ‘Unframed’ Project

September 8th, 2010  •   Posted by: mark  •   Posted in: art  •   Comment

JR’s latest enterprise is a project called Unframed. This time around, the French photographer is not pasting blown up images of his own art, but rather taking the works of other famous photographers and installing them in public places, giving each one a new meaning. The project is co-produced by the Musée de l’Elysée and the Festival Images, with photographs taken from the collection of the museum and pasted up in the city of Vevey, Switzerland.

More after the jump.
