Julian Schnabel Polaroids

Painter and film-maker, Julian Schnabel has taken hundreds of photographs with his homemade Polaroid camera; many of which are now on display until November 12th at London’s Colnaghi Gallery. A large portion of the images are portraits taken of his friends including such names as Lou Reed, Takashi Murakami, Christopher Walken, and Mickey Rourke to name a few.

Durkl 2010 Fall/Holiday Lookbook Delivery 2

Early last month we saw the first delivery from Durkl’s Fall/Holiday collection, and today we bring you the second delivery, which offers heritage pieces enhanced with Durkl’s touch of detailing, quilting, and fabric choices. Items include sturdy jackets, beanies, flannels, and fleece-wear along with graphic tee and hats. The collection is set to release November first. mash rating: 7/10

Johnny Cupcakes ‘There’s Something in the Cupcake Mix’ 5

Over the weekend, Johnny Cupcakes released the fifth installment of their ‘There’s Something in the Cupcake Mix‘ series t-shirts, which come packaged in a cereal box, and are limited to 300, each individually numbered.. So far, only two styles hit the online shop: The Reptile Man, and a Mystery Box that is an online exclusive, which unfortunately already sold out.

The Simpsons x Kidrobot ‘Mini Series 2‘

Once again Matt Groening and The Simpsons team up with Kidrobot to release a second mini series of collectible vinyl fun. The 25-character series features some of Springfield’s most notable citizens including extended family members and lovable barflies, as well as alternate versions of your favorite nuclear family along with two top secret chases. The blind boxed series will retail for $9.95 US and releases on October 28th.
