Gitman Vintage 2011 Spring/Summer

Today we present you with the Spring/Summer collection from Gitman Vintage. Now into their 5th season, the latest line was inspired by Spring/Summer 1986. By re-issuing basics from the past, SS11 offers an array of pastel Oxford solids and stripes, summer weight chambrays both solid and patchwork, Indian cotton madras, not just in plaid, but awning stripes too. It also literalizes SS86 by not changing the look and feel of their season’s favourite – the Cotton Dishtowel Patterns. Linens make their seasonal cameos, as well as first timers — Japanese Organics, and Jungle Bros. We always look forward to the new Gitman Vintage collections, as they are one of the strongest, and consistent we’ve seen when it comes to button downs. mash rating: 9/10
