JR ‘Inside Out’ in Tunisia

March 21st, 2011  •   Posted by: mark  •   Posted in: art  •   Comment

During his talk at TED, JR revealed his Inside Out Project, which calls upon people to send in photos of themselves for the French artist to paste all over the world. The first stop of the project is in Tunisia where huge portraits were pasted on billboards, in Sidi Bouziz (the village where the revolution started) on stacked police cars in the center of town, inside and on the facade of the house of the ex-Ben Ali Party, inside and outside of a police station, as well as the center of the city’s capital, Tunis.

More after the jump.
