Matt W. Moore recently returned from Russia, following a residency in Moscow where he ended up creating an impressive amount of work inspired by the his experiences and excursions in the Russian capital. MWM states:

“The juxtaposition of old and new, asymmetrical architecture, shadow play, reflections, optical illusions, the vibrant colors, and the ever present buzz of this mega city. As if you are looking at a crystal through a magnifying glass, each artwork is a celebration of a small moment from an infinite landscape of geometry, color, and illusion. Choose your own adventure! “

In addition to his exhibition for Sretenka Design Week, Matt also painted 3 massive murals in downtown Moscow, gave 2 Master Class Lectures, and painted a fleet of 17 geometric sculptures installed around Tsvetnoy.

RE:GENERATION is a feature length documentary that explores the history of music through the eyes of five modern DJ/Producers. The film is directed by Amir Bar Lev (The Pat Tillman Story, My Child Can Paint That) and was commissioned by Hyundai Veloster.

The chosen DJ/Producers are Skrillex, Pretty Lights, The Crystal Method, Mark Ronson, and DJ Premier. They embark on a musical odyssey to create tracks inspired by one of five traditional musical genres: Jazz, R&B, Country, Classical and Rock. The pairings include Skrillex with The Doors, DJ Premier with the Berklee Symphony Orchestra, The Crystal Method with Martha Reeves, Mark Ronson with Erykah Badu, and Pretty Lights with Leann Rimes and Ralph Stanley.
