Lucie & Simon ‘Silent World’

A series of images from Paris-based photographer duo, Lucie & Simon titled Silent World shows the side of big cities few have seen. The everyday hustle and bustle of the modern metropolis is juxtaposed with scenes devoid of big crowds, with only the odd passerby signalling the presence of human life. Whether it’s Times Square or Wall Street, Paris with its grand avenues, or Beijing’s gaping squares, all the images capture a post-apocalyptic world, turning our most recognizable landscapes into a dystopia reminiscent of Hollywood films.
More after the jump.
