For his latest video, Chicago’s David Cohn a.k.a Serengeti, brings back Kenny Dennis, his most outlandish alter ego. The video for Don’t Blame Steve, off the six-track Kenny Dennis EP, features the moustachioed, sausage-eating freak defend Steve Bartman, a Chicago Cubs fan who, in 2003, reached for a foul ball, getting in the way of the Cubs’ Moisés Alou who wasn’t able to catch it. The Cubs ended up losing the game and their aspirations for that season were blown. Bartman became the scapegoat for the Cubs’ failure, and in turn went into hiding. Our hero Kenny Dennis fights back supporting the ill-fated Cubs van.
