JR in North Korea

2011 TED Prize winner, JR recently visited North Korea. Although taking pictures in public can cause issues with authorities in the Communist country, that didn’t stop the French photographer from snapping away, shooting the streets, landmarks, buildings, signs, soldiers, and more.

I just finished “Nothing to envy-ordinary lives in North Korea” by Barbara Demick which is why I looked at these images with great interest. Very rare pictures, and good ones too! Thank you for posting!
