JR in Cuba

May 7th, 2012  •   Posted by: mark  •   Posted in: art  •   Comment

Recently spotted in North Korea, globe-trekking artist, JR is currently in Havana working on his ongoing project, Wrinkles of the City, pasting up large portraits of the local citizens onto several outdoor walls. His trip to the Cuban capital also coincides with the 2012 Havana Biennial, where he teamed up with artist, José Parla to create some new murals incorporating the work of both artists.

More after the jump.
