Photographer, Slim Aarons made a name for himself by taking pictures of socialites, jet-setters and celebrities for decades, starting in the ’50s. To best describe his work, this quote by Aarons, himself sums it up quite nicely: “Photographing attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places.” From California to Italy, to the French Riviera and beyond, Slim Aarons was invited by the rich and famous to their parties, family events, and vacations to capture not only their lives, but their impeccable style, affluence, and everything it affords.  Not too surprisingly, they spent quite a bit of time around pools and bodies of water…
