Rodney Mullen, Frank Lavallee, and Kilian Martin. Three names that foster a style of skateboarding that, while might be less popular to the hardcore skate crowd, is no less difficult (and at times far more creative) than some of the tricks we see from today’s best pros.

Kilian Martin recently took to the Mojave Desert with filmmaker Brett Novak to put together his latest video, Altered Route, a four-minute skate film that sees Martin do what he does best at an abandoned water park.
