El Mac Mural in Havana, Cuba

Mac has been keeping himself busy. Following his massive mural in Mexico, the Los Angeles-based artist made his way directly to Cuba for the 11th Havana Biennial to paint this piece titled “El Corazón de un Sueño Palpita Entre Mis Manos”, which is from a poem by the great Cuban poet Jose Ángel Buesa. The mural itself is based on a photo of a local citizen, Adis Naranjo, meant to represent the average Cuban.
More after the jump.
