Guardian photographer, Dan Chung shot the above video with his Canon 5D with Nikon and Zeiss lenses using manual focus. He purchased the camera to use solely as a video camera with existing Nikon kit. The film was shot and edited in about twelve hours directly after picking the camera up from a Beijing camera store and charging the battery. Impressive stuff.

The geniuses at Pixar have come up with this new, short film, which will be shown in theatres as an introduction to their soon-to-be-released UP feature film. 100 Illustrated Movie Posters
Tags: film, Movie Posters

I have a thing for old movie posters. Especially horror movie posters. For the most part, they’re beautifully drawn, in an era before Photoshop and Illustrator existed. Couple that with the dark humour to make you chuckle while giving you a cold chill, and what else more could you possibly need? It’s no wonder why many brands tend to be “inspired” by these works of art. Thanks to WellMedicated, you can browse through 100 old illustrated horror movie posters.
