Born of Hungarian descent, the Austrian fashion photographer/artist Bela Borsodi put together an editorial entitled Alphabets for WAD’s new Dictionary issue. Like everything he does, this is impressive stuff.

The Mac Covers Juxtapoz #103

Juxtapoz released their latest issue last week. Issue #103 features two covers. The newsstands get the Clayton Brothers, and lucky subscribers get the cover seen above by The Mac. The magazine also features a 14-page interview with the artist, conducted by David Choe. Over the weekend, Juxtapoz editors also caught up with Mac to ask him a few questions. Pentagram Papers 39: SIGNS

Pentagram recently published the 39th issue of their Pentagram Papers periodical, which focuses on the homeless. Texas musician and author, Joe Ely, was homeless for eight years, and during this time, he collected signs from his fellow companions. The issue features these signs – a total of 27 – a foreward by Ely, and portraits of the homeless taken by Michael O’Brien.

NY Times: One in Eight Million

The New York Times recently launched a new feature, entitled One in Eight Million. Every week, they introduce a a New Yorker who tells us about his/her life, problems, routines, etc… To give the viewer a more authentic feel, you actually hear the person telling his/her story, to which is accompanied a slideshow of images of the people and their surroundings.
