Red Pop for iPhone 4

One of the best things about the iPhone 4 is the camera. However, the experience of using it isn’t perfect. It can often get frustrating that shots are missed when you have to play ‘hunt the fire button’. The people at Beep Industries have have found a solution to this problem with Red Pop. Just twist the barrel, push Red Pop on to the iPhone’s dock connector and start taking pictures. Red Pop allows you to shoot away like you would with a regular camera, with less downtime between shots.
They’re currently looking to raise enough funding to mass produce the Red Pop. Head over to Kickstarter to help out.

Lomography Spinner 360°

The latest innovation from the great people at Lomography is their new Spinner 360° camera, which is probably the easiest way to shoot cool 360 degree panoramic images. “Take the Spinner 360° in one hand, pull the cord with the other and release it – in a split second the camera spins 360° around its own axis and records everything that’s around you on a frame more than 4 times longer than a conventional landscape picture.” It shoots on 35mm film, and there’s a microsite to give you more info about the product.

Freedom from Porn
Freedom from Porn, a group of rogue porn enthusiasts, who don’t like the fact that Apple won’t allow porn in its App Store, took to the streets of San Francisco to voice their opinion by taking over some of the iPad ads that litter the downtown area. The group no doubt timed their efforts to sync with WWDC week seeing that thousands of Apple developers are in town, therefore getting more bang for their buck.

The Head-Direct HiFiMan HM-801 Audio Player is the first of its kind, a portable, lossless audio player, as it is able to not only support standard formats like MP3 but also APE, WMA, FLAC. The media player’s system is so advanced it can play 24-bit files that sound better than CDs, with much wider frequency and dynamic ranges. While the player’s abilities are incredible its price is not as progressive; The Head-Direct HiFiMan HM-801 is priced at almost $800.
