Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire’s new video is a combination of two tracks. The first half sees the rapper spit a cappella to Noble Drew Ali on the top of a car while the second half has eXquire in a hot tub for the track Nightfall At The Thames. Both are off his upcoming album, Kismet.

For their Music(less) Conference, Scion organized a panel consisting of Action Bronson, producer Harry Fraud, and Killer Mike who talk about the current state of rap music. They discuss the extent the internet and social media have enhanced their careers, about blurring geographical lines in music and the evolution of sound, the power of good music and much more.

It’s not only directed again by Floria Sigismundi but is also cinematic, full of symbolism and somewhat revolting. It will have your attention from start to end though.

Oscillate is New York-based digital artist, Daniel Sierra’s thesis animation. The concept behind the video was “to visualize waveform patterns that evolve from the fundamental sine wave to more complex patterns, creating a mesmerizing audio-visual experience in which sight and sound work in unison to capture the viewer’s attention.” Yeah, that sounds about right…

Hey — this is a video my friend Video Marsh made for this really old Grimes song from my first record. We were supposed to release it ages ago and somehow it didn’t happen probably because it didn’t comply with the press cycle at the time and since I’ve stopped caring about complying with press cycles im sharing this now. This is the only post-genesis official grimes video that i didn’t work on myself that will ever be released :). it’s a different vibe entirely as you can see. i think it’s very very beautiful and haunting and peaceful and scary. all footage is from the reifel bird sanctuary in British columbia.
