Amsterdam’s Patta and San Francisco’s Huf join forces to design a capsule collection consisting of crewnecks, t-shirts and snapbacks. The items release tomorrow at Patta and Huf. Although we have a lot of respect for both brands, when two big names such as them get together we’d expect much more than to have them just slap a not-so original graphic onto some tees and sweaters. mash rating: 4.5/10

To celebrate its dedication to domestic manufacturing, New Balance announces the introduction of new 993 models to it’s Made in the USA collection. Featuring handcrafted styles constructed in New Balance’s most premium materials, the Made in the USA collection honours the New Balance tradition of producing shoes in the USA since 1906.

Comprised of both heritage and new silhouettes, the Made in the USA collection includes styles from the celebrated 990 series. The most enduring technical running series on the market, originally launched in 1982, included the first running shoe to break price barriers at $100. Upper Playground have dropped their New Eras for the month of July. Included in the release is a mesh New Era and the ‘Whales’ 59Fifty designed by David Choe. Both are now available through UP’s online shop. mash rating: 4/10

We’re fans of Johnny Cupcakes, because he almost always makes tees that look good. The quality is on par, the graphics are always clever. This latest one – which just happens to be right there on the Transformers bandwagon – isn’t his best tee, but we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. mash rating: 4.5/10

Last Saturday saw the release of the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Blue Lobster’. The owner of Concepts was spotted outside rocking a pair of yellow Lobsters. These are supposedly limited to 36 pairs and given out to friends and family. A lucky few waiting in line were also given a pair. mash rating: 4.5/10
