Following last week’s preview, today we bring you a full look at Gourmet’s Spring line of footwear. Perhaps the most impressive collection yet, there a total of eight models of which three are brand new styles including the Tre, Diciotto, and Dicinove, with the Uno, Quattro, Cinque, Nove, Quadici, making a return in updated colourways and materials. All sneakers are now available through the Gourmet online shop. mash rating: 9/10

Gourmet is also having a Winter sale offering a lot of their previous releases at discounted prices. They still have a lot of sizes available.

Gourmet has just revealed the first delivery of their Spring Collection, which consists of five models: the Quattro B (above), which features a ballistic nylon upper with a leather liner; the Dicinove, which utilizes a nappa and vegetable tan leather upper with cotton lace detail; the Nove L, which has a lizard-printed full-grain leather upper; the Cinque Epi, made from French calf-tanned epi leather; the Quattro UNDFTD, which is their first collaboration, pairing them with Undefeated. The shoe features a linen-printed, full-grain leather upper with four cotton-coiled laces (red, black, white and royal). These will be available at all Undefeated locations and select retailers on February 15th, and the UK/EU/Asia the following week, while the rest of the collection should hit Gourmet’s online shop in a few hours. mash rating: 9/10

Arguably the most sought after, and distinctive shoe to come out of the Visvim camp is the FBT. Over the years we have seen a bundle of colourways, and numerous materials. Here we have the latest, the FBT Elston in three colourways, which are perhaps the most well executed FBTs we’ve seen in a while. Makers of the finest of cotton, Loopwheeler have collaborated with Nike to create the AW77 hoodie using their quality material. The Japanese label uses loopwheel machines to create their cotton. The process takes much longer – a full hour for one metre of material – than mass manufacturing, but the result is an unparalleled quality cotton. Today, Berlin-retailer, The-Glade received a few of the hoodies in both black and grey. mash rating: 9/10

Today we bring you the Fall lookbook from Freshjive. A pioneer in the streetwear market, few labels have matched the longevity and consistency of Freshjive. The graphic tees continue to be their bread and butter, and browsing through the Fall offerings, not only could I see myself wearing pretty much each and every one of them, but I’d gladly dish out my hard earned cash for them. Current events, adult humour, brilliantly playful and well-executed designs each and every time. Freshjive is one of those brands that can get me excited about streetwear – something which happens pretty much once in a blue moon (or whenever they come out with a new collection). Along with the tees, expect hats, jackets, sweats, shirts, and more. The collection has already started arriving at retailers. The story of Original Penguin dates back to 1955 and Munsingwear, a Minneapolis-based underwear and military garment store, that launched the Original Penguin golf-shirt in the United States. Worn by the likes of Richard Nixon, Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Arnold Palmer, and Bing Crosby, this golf shirt became a symbol in suburban leisure until well into the 1980s. This year, however, they have a new Creative Director in Ann Doty Payne, who lends her unique aesthetic to the brand by introducing new patterns as well as reinvigorating heritage prints with new colourways and silhouettes. We applaud Ms Payne as she put together a nearly perfect collection for the Holiday season. We’d be hard-pressed to choose a favourite, and there’s probably only one or two items we’d wear with a bit of reluctance. Our hats off to Original Penguin for creating menswear as it should be. mash rating: 9/10
