One of Nike’s first Air Max 1 releases of the year is this pair, which sports a columbia blue/grey-white colourway, and uses a combination of suede and mesh and on the upper. You can find it now at retailers including End. mash rating: 6/10

Nike has released a new colourway of the Air Max 1 in a white/black colourway. The simple colourway mixed with a bit of grey makes these look like an OG colourway, which is why we’d guess these will be one of the more popular AM1 releases. You can find them now at Premier. mash rating: 6.5/10

It seems that Dutch retailer Patta pulls no stops by designing another pair Air Max 1s. This latest colourway has a predominantly black upper with contrasting white swoosh and midsoles with green accents and a gum sole. The shoes release this Friday at Patta and select retailers. mash rating: 7.5/10

Part of Nike’s East vs West Rivalry pack is this pair of Air Max 1s. It features a combination of suede and mesh on the upper, in a baroque brown colourway with a white midsole and black sole. It’s now available at Kix- Files. mash rating: 6/10

It seems Patta is going all out for their 5th anniversary. So far, they’ve put together three colourways of the Air Max 1 to celebrate (green/grey-white, purple TZ and Burgundy), and here we see a fourth one in a blue/green colour scheme. It’s set to release this Saturday, and if we have to guess, we’d say there’ll be a fifth colourway to round out the 5th anniversary celebrations. mash rating: 5/10

To celebrate their first anniversary, Schuh You launched a design contest together with NikeiD. All you have to do is visit NikeiD.com and design your own pair of Air Max 1s. After your finished click on “Save and Share” then “copy direct link”. Send the link to AM1@schuh-you.com, and your design will be uploaded to Schuh-You’s website where you can vote for your favourite. The top five sneakers will be voted on by a jury (of which yours truly is a member), and the winner will be sent his winning design.

A few weeks back, we reported on the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Premium, but at the time, we had information on availability. We can now bring you more images of the shoe, as well as let you know that the sneaker has already started hitting retailers including Sneakersnstuff.

Amsterdam boutique, Patta celebrates their 5th anniversary this year, and to celebrate they have once again teamed up with Nike to release a sneaker. This time around, they chose the Air Max 1, and gave it a premium upper featuring mesh, leather, and what appears to be canvas. So far no news has been released as to availability and quantity. Stay tuned. mash rating: 8/10

Soon, Nike will be adding some more Air Max 1s to their collection. Releasing in October will be the classic running shoe in two colourways featuring a combination of suede and mesh, and speckled midsoles. They’re available now for pre-order through Crooked Tongues’ online shop. mash rating: 7/10
