Harmony Korine’s latest work is a book of fanzines made by him and friend, Mark Gonzales in the ’90s. The fanzines were created in limited amounts, and were sold in only a few galleries in New York, and passed out “on street corners and given away to tramp sects”. The fanzines have since become collectible items, and even have risen in value. The book consists of eight fanzines, and released mid-November. The book comes in a paperback edition, and a limited edition box set of all eight fanzines. It’s available now through Drag City.

Instead of writing a trend report for 2009, PSFK decided it would be a much better idea to cover all the inspirational ideas they read and write about every day. They want to spread the positivity, and “encourage you to re-ignite the world”. The 80-page book covers design, mobile, collaboration, digital, social media, the long term and much more. You can check out a few pages from the book here. More information, and purchasing here.

Boogie last reported from the raw streets of Sao Paolo, and now the Serbian photographer brings you the second volume of his city series, entitled Istanbul. The book is a result of a week long stay Boogie had in the city of Istanbul where he shot photos 15 hours a day. The result is 96 pages of black and white photography that give a starkly honest and transparent look at the feel and nature of the Turkish city. To commemorate the launch of the book, he collaborated with Fifty24SF to create two tees using photos from the book. All are now available through Upper Playground’s online store, as well as their retail locations.
