Carhartt reports on a new project they’ve collaborated on with Andrea Caputo, and his new book, All City Writers. Published by Kitchen93, with 1230 pictures, 620 articles, 410 full-colour pages, and more than 250 writers involved, the book aims at exploring New York’s influence on European graffiti in the ’80s. The book is scheduled to release November 7th at Carhartt locations and select book stores. Early next year they’ll launch a European exhibition series with the participation of “All City Writers” contributors at selected Carhartt stores.

The first volume was published back in May, and now Carhartt releases its second Brand Book. The new issue features an in-depth look into the Fall/Winter collection, the current advertising campaign, collaborations, detailed information about the Heritage Collection, interviews, the latest news from the Carhartt BMX and skate teams, and more. For the second time, Carhartt has teamed up with Montana to put out a new limited edition spray can. This time, the colour is the typical Carhartt orange, and a total of 1000 were made. Look for it at Carhartt stores.

Carhartt was founded in 1889 in Detroit, Michigan. Their first items were overalls in denim and  duck fabrics. To pay homage to their 120 year history, the brand have created a Heritage collection consisting of work pants made from the same materials and colours used back when they first started out. Austrian skateboard brand, Yama Skateboards teamed up with Carhartt. The two brands put together the Mental Weirdo Asylum series decks made for four skaters who are sponsored by both brands. They were designed Belgian artist, Elzo Durt. mash rating: 8/10

Just recently, Carhartt updated their website with the new Spring/Summer collection. The brand once again brings their familiar everyday, classic items to the table. Items range from everything from denim jeans and shorts, to shirts and tees, from jackets to sweats, and more.

Carhartt have just launched their Brand Book series. From now on, the book will be released each season, and will offer a look at the latest collection, collaborations, projects, new Carhartt stores, artists, etc… The first volume features the Spring/Summer collection, advertising campaign and its creator Marc Chiarello.
