Here’s a time-lapse video of Kiel Johnson building his twin reflex camera using only cardboard, hot glue, and tape. Although it was designed only to be a sculpture, when it was finished, they turned it into a pinhole camera and actually took photos with it. You can view those images here.

hidemax cycle servet yuksel 01 Servet Yuksels Hidemax Cycle

Designed by Servet Yuksel, the Hidemax Cycle was born out of the notion to enhance speed, functionality, looks, comfort, resistance and durability. The handle bars are adjustable, as is the seat - which is can be moved left/right through its two different joint points - and the back was equipped with Twins Shock Absorbers to provide a smoother ride. No word yet as to whether these will be released to the public.

roland tiangco dirty 01 Roland Tiangco Dirt Poster No. 1‘

Roland Tiangco came up with one of the most creative posters we’ve seen in a while. The spot-varnished type reads “The Future Belongs to the Few of Us Still Willing to Get Our Hands Dirty”, and although in order to reveal this message, you wipe off the excess varnish with your hands, and in doing so get them quite dirty, you will rest assured knowing the future is bright. We look forward to seeing more as this is the first of a series.

chris boardman intelligent bike 01 Chris Boardman: Intelligent Bicycle

Chris Boardman has come up with the intelligent bicycle. It counts calories as you burn them, plays music, and thanks to solar power, it even pedals for you if you get tired. It’s impossible to steal, and will work only after you identify yourself via fingerprint recognition. The tires won’t go flat, but in case you ride over broken shards of glass, the tires will immediately self inflate (like the cars in Demolition Man). All of this is only a concept, and according to Chris, will only become feasible to mass produce in twenty years.
