Upper Playground pay tribute to the city by the Bay with a selection of t-shirts designed by some big names. Design duo Morning Breath show their fondness of certain adult San Francisco landmarks, while Jeremy Fish and Sam Flores also pay tribute with some SF-centric graphics. Jeremy Fish has wasted no time getting to work in the new year, and shows us several of his latest drawings. He will be offering a few of them as prints, but is having trouble deciding as to which ones. You can vote in the comment section on his blog, or on his Facebook.

Jeremy Fish offers a look at some of his newest drawings. The San Francisco-based artist has been trying to find some new directions, and has been looking at local psychedelic rock posters, and Rick Griffin’s work for inspiration.

Hemway Industries has just launched its new online store and website featuring artist collectibles, offering unique products and prints. The first item is a new print by Jeremy Fish, which measures 18″ x 18″ and is limited to 50, each signed and numbered by the artist. You can purchase it for $60 through Hemway Industries’ online shop.

Over the weekend, Jeremy Fish opened his latest exhibit at the Laguna Art Musuem. The San Francisco-based artist put together new works which are “largely about transformation and rebirth through struggle. Deliberately drawing from our own current economic and political events and its impact on us socially and emotionally, Fish’s characters reveal a narrative of evolution through struggle to obtain a more magnificent and resilient place. In this exhibition, Fish has created paintings surrounded by hand carved wood frames, as well as three-dimensional figures for the gallery wall installation and wooden sculptures.” The show runs until January 17th.

Jeremy Fish has once again created some New Eras for Upper Playground for the month of October. The artist designed the Peaceful New Era made from grey wool, and the I Heart SF fitted made from blue corduroy. Both are now available through Upper Playground’s online shop. mash rating: 5/10

For the month of August, Upper Playground has released two New Eras. The ’superFishbones’ 59Fifty was designed by Jeremy Fish, and inspired by Los Angeles-based ska band, Fishbone. The other is Fifty24SF’s ‘Great White’ New Era. Both are now available through UP’s website. mash rating: 7/10
