Karimoku x Medicom ‘Piano Black’ 400% Wood Bearbrick

Once again, Medicom Toy has teamed up with prestigious Japanese wood manufacturer, Karimoku to design a new Bearbrick. Made from solid wood, it has been given a piano-like thin black urethane coating, which makes it appear to be made of plastic. It’s now available at SlamJam. mash rating: 8.5/10

Medicom Toy 200% ‘Chogokin’ Chrome Bearbrick

Medicom has released a new Bearbrick in the likeneness of Chogokin toys, which are made of die-cast metals. It comes in the not often seen 200% size (about 15cm tall) in a chrome finish, which has just landed at Colette.

Matt Black x Medicom Toy ‘Diamond’ 400% Bearbrick

Matt Black has teamed up with Medicom to design a new Bearbrick. The 400% Bearbrick is covered in a diamond pattern, and is limited to 500. You can get one now through Colette. mash rating: 6/10

Original Fake ‘Chompers’ Belt

Here we show you another belt from Original Fake. Similar to the previous one, this was also produced by Medicom Toy, and features Kaws’ trademark Chompers graphic along the entire belt. It is now available in two colours at Colette for €480.

Original Fake x Medicom ‘Dissected Companion’ Bearbricks

Following up on the preview we gave you last week of the new ‘Dissected Companion’ Bearbrick comes the release of the toy in all three sizes. They just arrived at Colette. The 100% is going for €25, the 400% for €115, and the 1000% for €360.

It looks like Original Fake has once again collaborated with Medicom Toy on a Bearbrick. This latest design was made in the likeness of the Dissected Companion from over 2 years back. Expect these to arrive at retailers shortly.

Black Comme des Garcons Bearbricks & Tees

Following up on the success of their collaboration with Louis Vuitton, the Commes des Garcons store on Kotto Dori in Aoyama has just recently opened as a new concept store. Here we have the first items on sale at the shop, which are the Black Commes des Garcons 100% and 400% Bearbricks, and two tees.

Silly Thing x Medicom Toy ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ Kubricks

At the end of October, we got a look at the Beatles Kubricks, which turned out to be a collaborative effort between SiLLY Thing, and Medicom Toy. The 1000% Kubricks have recently arrived at Colette. The hefty price tag of €2565 hasn’t seemed to deter anyone. They’re already sold out.
