We recently reported on Parra’s new solo exhibit at Milan’s Galleria Patricia Armocida. The opening was on Tuesday, and we now show you some photos from the opening, which features new and old work from the Dutch artist including canvases, original drawings, new prints, posters, and a site-specific installation. The exhibit runs until June 19th.

Parra is getting ready to open his first ever solo exhibit in Italy at Milan’s Galleria Patricia Armocida. For the exhibit, the Dutch artist will present canvases, original drawings, new prints, posters, and a site-specific installation. The title, ‘The Disco of Italo’, is an amusing homage to the phenomenon of “Italo Disco”, a term coined in 1983 by a German named Bernhard Mikulski, which later became famous worldwide as the synonym for dance music made in Italy. The exhibit runs for a month from May 19th to June 19th.

A few days ago, we showed you an image of what seemed to be a new Air Maxim designed by Parra. Well, from the image above, we can definitely confirm that the sneaker has in fact been designed by the Dutch artist. His trademark colours and distinctive graphics decorate the tongue and insoles. The shoes are expected to release in the coming months.

From the creator of 2kbygingham comes Publik. For the Japanese brands new collection, they worked together with several artists including Parra. The Dutch artist created three designs, of which will be made available in both men’s and women’s sizes through Publik’s website on May 10th.

Rockwell have just dropped their tees for the Spring. Parra created six new designs in his colourful, distinctive style. Get them now through Rockwell’s online shop.

We’ve all become familiar with seeing Parra’s designs on tees, but the latest from Rockwell comes from out of left field. The Dutch artist chose to use duvet covers as a canvas. It’s available in two sizes now through Rockwell’s site.

Vallery Publishing have released a new book showing the best works of Dutch artist Parra. The 64-page book is comprised of a variety of art including drawings, illustrations, and more. You can get the book now at Turntable Lab.

Parra has once again designed a tee for Stones Throw. Currently J Dilla’s mother is suffering from the same disease that took her son’s life. To help out, Stones Throw will be releasing the tee with all proceeds going to help out J Dilla’s mother. The tee hits stores in February.
