Earlier this year, Staple teamed up with Converse to work on the Seastar Mid model. The two brands have once again worked together on the sneaker; this time as part of Converse’s 1Hund(RED) project, which brings together 100 artists from around the globe to celebrate the artistic spirit and help eliminate AIDS in Africa. The sneaker releases tomorrow exclusively at The Reed Space. mash rating: 5/10

Following last year’s Staple Design x New Balance 575 ‘Pigeon’, today Jeff Staple officially announces news about the follow-up 575 ‘White Pigeon’. The sneaker is limited to 1077 pairs globally, and will be releasing on August 18th. The back of the tongue tag reads ‘Shiro’ (Japanese for ‘white’). Back in November, we showed you the Staple x Converse Seastar Hi ‘Pigeon’ sneakers. We originally stated they were slated for a December release, but they just arrived today at Colette. It comes as no suprise that they’re already sold out.

Following the Nike SB Dunk Low, and more recently the New Balance 575, Jeff Staple collaborated with Converse on a Pigeon-inspired Seastar Mid. These release in December and will be limited. Only a select few shops will be getting them in, among them Paris boutique, Colette.
