Puma is getting set to release a new pack of hybrid sneakers. Entitled the Bubble Tech pack, it consists of three sneakers (a Sky 2 Hi 10 Cell, a Puma Mid Archive and a Puma Disc Blaze 10 Cell) from Puma’s archive updated with new technology. Look for the shoes to hit retailers, including Overkill, this December. mash rating: 3.5/10

Puma have come out with a new Suede Classic based on the original Suede from 1978. In the following months, Puma will release three pairs of the classic sneaker in premium suede uppers with an extra set of laces. Here we have the first three colourways, which have already began arriving at retailers. mash rating: 4/10

Solebox teamed up with Puma on these R698 sneakers. They released yesterday in-store, and the remaining pairs went online last night. Get it through Solebox’s website.

Undefeated have joined forces with Puma to create a new set of sneakers. The end result is the 24K Mid collection, which consists of the Puma Mid in five different colourways. They were each given a perforated suede upper – except for the gold colourway, which is more limited than the other Mids – and packed full of gold details including both brands’ logos, a gold-studded five-strike logo, the insoles, etc… The sneakers release Saturday, February 7th at Undefeated as well as Classic Kicks (NYC), ALIFE (NYC), Atmos (NYC), Major (DC), UBIQ (Philly), Premium Goods (Houston), Leaders (Chicago) and Bodega (Boston).

Debuting in 1994, the Disc Blaze was received with praise by those who had grown tired of velcro, but had still not managed to learn to tie their own shoes. Fifteen years have passed, and I have yet to discover the point of this technology. 2009 will see the release of some new colourways of the Disc Blaze. Here’s a preview.

Mita Sneakers of Japan have added another collaboration to what is an already lengthy list. This time, they once again got together with Puma. They chose the Puma Clyde, and gave it a black/blue “rising sun” design. The sneaker will release January 2nd.
