Original Penguin Berlin Pop-Up Store

Expanding their European market, Original Penguin have opened a pop-up store in Berlin’s stylish and culturally rich Mitte area. The store will retail select pieces from the current Autumn/Winter collection, including outerwear, sweaters, suiting, knitwear and polos. They will also carry exclusive products such as the Plaid Blazer, Dress shirt with cuff links and Duffel outerwear.

New Balance Experience Store in Beijing

New Balance has announced the opening of its first ever Experience Store in Beijing’s Qianmen Avenue. Celebrating the brand’s past, present and future, the two-storey, 2000+ square meter store proudly showcases the brand’s century-long heritage to bring a completely new brand retail experience to life.

Johnny Cupcakes LA 1st Anniversary

Already one year has passed since Johnny Cupcakes opened his Los Angeles store. To celebrate, they threw a party. A week prior, the line had already started forming, and by the day of the event, the entire block was one long, continuous line. In the video above check out the line and Johnny’s entrance on a tricycle, wearing a helmet and glasses, and pulling a cupcake balloon…

Tokyo CULTuART by Beams

Beams just recently opened their latest store in Harajuku. Called CULTuART, the shop aims to gather the best that Tokyo has to offer whether it be fashion, design, art, etc… According to Nagai (CULTuART’s manager), the shop is an aggregator of urban Tokyo, bringing its many faces and artists into one place that acts as both retail outlet and museum. Prices can range from the $150  Peloqoon stuffed figures by Modoka Morikawa to $7000 for Pucci’s one-of-a-kind Doraemon stained-glass lamp. Beams has plans to open more CULTuART shops in other cities around the globe bringing the best of Tokyo to a wider audience.

Bodega Website Now Live

After a few years in the business, Bodega have finally launched their website. Along with checking out the latest news surrounding the Boston shop as well as the new arrivals, and more. The site also has an online shop.

Alife Hollywood

Back last September, Alife opened up shop in Los Angeles on Fairfax. The store has since closed, and has moved to downtown Hollywood at Space 15 Twenty, a shopping center curated by Urban Outfitters.  It was created so that Urban Outfitters could collaborate with those creative brands they found interesting  and inspiring. Here we have some images of the new store.

Crooks & Castles Flagship Store

We recently mention that Crooks & Castles would be opening their first flaship store at 8021 Melrose in Los Angeles. The shop opened over the weekend, and we now have some photos of it.
