Chocolate’s limited edition Bar Series collectors decks are now back. They’ve been slightly updated to accomodate the current team. The only skater with the exact same deck is Chico Brenes. Look for the series now at Chocolate retailers.

Active Ride Shop recently spent a day with Paul Rodriguez, and brought a camera to chronicle the events. Just under eight minutes, the video reveals what an average day is like for the professional skateboarder. Check it out.

Part of 5Boro’s collection for the Fall season includes a new set of skate decks. Dubbed Stick Up, the pack consists of five colourful decks, which are now available through indiemerchstore.com. mash rating: 6/10

I have no idea what the point of this video is, but I’m sure there’s a method behind the madness, as this has to be one of the most amusing and entertaining skate videos I’ve seen in a while. Big up to the people at Salazar for putting it together.

November 17th marks the release of Rakim’s latest album, The Seventh Seal. To commemorate The Seventh Seal, Zoo York will be putting out a deck, which will come with a copy of the album. Expect a release next month.

We reported on the previous Damien Hirst for Supreme collaboration back in February. The British artist has once again gotten together with the New York label to design five new decks, and a t-shirt. They will be made available on November 19th in-store, and on the 23rd online, with a Japan release on the 21st. mash rating: 6/10

The Brooklyn Banks is scheduled to close this year. The legendary skate spot found in downtown Manhatten has been a mecca for skaters, and bikers alike for decades. However, reconstruction on the Brooklyn Bridge will begin this year, and will last until 2014, and in the process the area under the bridge (the banks) will also be cordoned off. No word as to whether the banks will still be intact when reconstruction finishes. Stay tuned.
