To celebrate their first anniversary, Schuh You launched a design contest together with NikeiD. All you have to do is visit NikeiD.com and design your own pair of Air Max 1s. After your finished click on “Save and Share” then “copy direct link”. Send the link to AM1@schuh-you.com, and your design will be uploaded to Schuh-You’s website where you can vote for your favourite. The top five sneakers will be voted on by a jury (of which yours truly is a member), and the winner will be sent his winning design.

Making its debut this year, the hybrid Air Hoop Structure releases in a brand new colourway. If you haven’t already noticed, this version is based on the Air Jordan VIII ‘Aqua’, and has started making its way to retailers including proper. mash rating: 6/10

Reebok have also teamed up with Huf to have them designed a pair of sneakers to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Pump. It is limited to only 31 pairs, and will release November 21st at Huf’s Hayes location. mash rating: 7/10

Continuing their 20th anniversary celebrations, Reebok has also teamed up with Dutch boutique/label, Patta who have designed their own pair of the classic Pump sneaker in a gold/red colourway. Stay tuned for more details. mashPONT: 6/10

This year has seen the return of the Air Max ST in multiple colourways. In 2010, however, it will be back in its original white/grey/orange/purple colourway. It will be available at retailers including Barcelona’s Opium. mash rating: 8/10

Jordan Brand revisits the iconic Air Jordan I. The most noticeable change is the sole, which now features a full length Zoom Air unit. The upper was also updated with no-sew overlays and perforated inlays, which are only noticeable from up close. There is a total of four colourways, the first to release in January.  mash rating: 5/10

Gourmet have just released their Holiday collection. Materials this time around consist of velvet, calf tanned leathers and American-made pony hairs. The line-up includes the Quattro, Nove, Otto, and Tredici. All sneakers are available in multiple colourways now through Gourmet’s website. mash rating: 8/10
