Based on their classic Sk8-Hi, part of Vans 2010 Spring Vault collection is the Standard Hi LX in three colourways. Each have a tonal upper utilizing a combination of suede and canvas materials featuring white soles. The shoes release next month. mash rating: 8.5/10

Vans Vault ‘Garment’ Pack

Today we bring you some new sneakers from Vans Vault’s December releases. Part of the drop includes the Garment pack, which consists of a 106 LX and a Half Cab LX. Both feature a grey/black upper made of suede and leather with white midsoles. Look for them now at Vans Vault retailers. mash rating: 7/10

Knoll x Vans Vault ‘10 Spring Mountain Edition LX

Part of the upcoming 2010 Spring Vans Vault collection is a set of sneakers featuring Knoll materials on the upper. The pack consists of four colourways, which are scheduled to begin arriving at retailers next March/April. mash rating: 7/10

Here we have a new Sk8-Mid from the Vans Vault line. Unlike the reasonable price tag of regular Sk8-Mids, these cost a pretty penny more thanks to the use of premium leathers used on the upper. These should arrive at retailers soon.

Vans Vault ‘09 Fall ‘Shaffer’s Crossing’ Pack

Today, we bring you another pack from the Vans Vault Fall collection. Shaffer’s Crossing was an old trainstop in central Virginia during the glory days of the Norfolk & Western Railroad. This package features premium wool fabrics mixed with high quality full grain oiled leather or Scotchgard treated pig suede. The footwear has been reinforced in high wear areas and features a supportive, molded footbed. There are a total of six styles, which will release in September.

For the Fall season, Vans Vault will be releasing some brand new models. Among them the boat shoe-inspired Chukka Del Barco LX, the slim profiled Needle LX, and a new version of the venerable Sk8-Hi, the Sk8-Hi Standard Issue LX.

Rick Griffin x Vans Vault ‘09 Fall

Rick Griffin gained his popularity in the 1960s designing rock posters, which incorporated surfing imagery, vivid colors and wild lettering during the burgeoning hippie movement. His unique, psychedelic style was definitively his own. One of his most enduring designs was the logo for Rolling Stone magazine. Unfortunately, Griffin passed away in 1991, but his art lives on as Vans pay tribute to him with a pack for their Fall Vault collection. The pack consists of two t-shirts and four shoes which feature his trademark detailed imagery and swirling lettering.
